Daily BrainDrop Privacy Policy

Last updated: 15 June 2026

Daily BrainDrop ("the App") is a free, ad-supported educational application. This page informs you of our policies regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of personal information.

Information Collection And Use

The App does not collect, store, or transmit any personally identifiable information. No account or sign-in is required, and your daily content cache and preferences are stored only on your own device.

Third-party Services

The App relies on the following third-party services, which may receive limited technical information:

  • Google AdMob — displays advertisements and may collect device identifiers, advertising ID, IP address, and usage data to serve personalised or non-personalised ads. See https://policies.google.com/privacy
  • Google Play Services — required for core functionality on Android devices. See https://policies.google.com/privacy
  • Public content APIs — the App fetches daily content from third-party services (a dictionary API, a facts API, the Open Library book service, a riddles API, and a jokes API). These receive only standard request data, such as your device's IP address, and are sent no personal information.

Advertising

The App displays banner advertisements provided by Google AdMob. Ads may use cookies or device identifiers to provide relevant advertising. Where required (for example, in the EEA and UK), the App shows a consent prompt on first launch so you can choose how your data is used for ads; you can change this choice later. You can also opt out of personalised advertising in your device settings under Google > Ads.

Log Data

If the App encounters an error, diagnostic data ("Log Data") may be collected through third-party services. This Log Data may include your device model, operating system version, the configuration of the App, and the time and date of use.

Links To Other Sites

The App may contain links to external websites that we do not operate. We advise you to review the privacy policies of any third-party sites you visit.

Children's Privacy

Daily BrainDrop is intended for a general audience. Although its content is family-friendly, the App is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.

Changes To This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date.
